In March 2011 The Sun Factory installed a grid-connected solar PV system at the house of a family in The Netherlands.
The average household consumes 3500 kWh per year. This family has chosen for 10 panels of 1.85 kWp, generating approximately 1600 kWh per year. Producing and consuming their own electricity will reduce the consumption from the central grid, which will keep the energy bills go down.
