For a dairy farmer in the North of The Netherlands, The Wind Factory supplied and installed a 600 kW wind turbine. Permission limitations allowed a maximum hub height of 40m, with a fixed blade type. The local soil condition required a special foundation design for the wind turbine using special piles. Changing regional and community laws and regulations for wind turbine installations, made this project one of the record longest developments, taking almost 15 years from first planning application until final installation.
